"Burns' sculpture and paintings have a medieval quality of myth telling, they're charmingly painted with a long low note of apocalyptic despair."
MIKE SORGATZ
Peter has shown at Claremorris Gallery since he was a student. Over the past ten years he has established himself as one of the most important painters of his generation of artists in Ireland, having entered the international stage, now showing extensively in London, New York & Miami with Gibbons and Nicholas, as well as participating in a number of exhibitions in New York and London galleries.
Wayfarer is an at times lurid phantasmagoria of the artist’s internal life; an endless source of solace, pleasure, and stimulation.
