Kaye Maahs
Kaye Maahs is a contemporary artist living and working in the Burren, Co. Clare with a degree in Fine Art from CCAM GMIT.
She is the 2017 recipient of Clare County Council’s Tyrone Guthrie Artist Bursary and her work has also been selected for Cairde Visual 2016/2017, Facing West Boyle Arts Festival, Kerry Visual Artist Showcase 2017 and the Claremorris Open Exhibition 2017.

Maahs’ practice is defined by daily observations and musings. Her paintings inspired by the everyday, the ordinary and she often paints from memory. She is influenced by Basil Blackshaw, Camille Souter and Seamus Heaney among others.
